99th Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition
The Gold Medal event sets itself above other exhibitions as the only curated fine arts exhibition who’s jurying committee combines the expertise of artists and a select group of leading museum professionals. The quality of this year’s display of paintings and sculpture has built upon the prestige of the Gold Medal Exhibition, while providing the Club with exquisite examples to further educate the public on the merits of contemporary-traditional fine arts. As the California Art Club approaches its Centennial, it proudly presents the 99th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition, which pays homage to California Impressionism, the artistic movement attributed to the Club’s early artists who founded the organization in 1909. These Gold Medal artists, who have been inspired by many of the Club’s founders, follow in their footsteps by preserving moments in history on canvas and as sculpture.
